One week after he was arrested for murder in 2019, Marvin Williams Campbell (in photo) was charged. And he is due to appear before a magistrate this afternoon.

It was on Monday that DPP Roger Gaspard gave orders for the charges to be laid for the murder of 24-year-old Shiloh Collingwood at Monte Grande, Tunapuna.

Campbell, 31,  also known as Minge who also lives in  Monte Grande in Tunapuna is also charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Collingwood was at his home on November 22nd 2019, when he was approached by a lone gunman who shot at him several times.

He was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he died.
