China, which has brought the Coronavirus under control after the outbreak in Wuhan, has agreed to help Trinidad and Tobago by sending valuable equipment.

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said China has agreed to  the following:

• Fifteen sets of body temperatures measurements system
• Real-time test kits for diagnosis of COVID for 4,000 persons
• (Carpha has the capacity for 3,000).
• Protective gears like masks, gloves, coveralls and goggles
• Facilitation of technical  information  and  medical expertise through video conference with medical professionals in China
