Chrissy Teigen And Husband John Legend Mourn Miscarriage Of Baby Boy

By Newsroom

Days after being admitted to hospital with pregnancy complications, Chrissy Teigen has revealed the heartbreaking news that she and husband John Legend lost their third baby through a miscarriage.

Teigen, made the announcement in an emotional post to her Instagram.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” the 34 year old mom of two wrote.

She revealed that the miscarriage was the result of a loss of excessive blood.

“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough,” she said.

Chrissy and John first hinted at their third pregnancy in August, by way of a music video for the ‘EGOT’-winning musician’s latest single ‘Wild’.

In the post, Teigen said she and John never decided on their babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before leaving the hospital.

“But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”

“To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you,” she wrote.

In the past, Teigen and Legend- who met on the set of Legend’s music video, have been open about their struggles to get pregnant naturally, and have discussed how their two children Luna and Miles were conceived through IVF.
