The Ministry of Health has recorded an additional COVID-19 related death. 

In its evening update, it said the patient is an elderly male with co-morbidities. 

The death toll from the virus now stands at 29.

Meanwhile, 43 more people have tested positive for the virus, pushing the number of active cases to 1,255.

Overall, Trinidad and Tobago has recorded 1,984 cases of the virus to date.
