The Desalination Company of Trinidad and Tobago (Desalcott) has advised the Water and
Sewerage Authority of T&T of a three-day shutdown of its Desalination Plant at Point Lisas, to facilitate emergency repairs to a leak on the Clearwell Header at the facility. The shutdown will affect the water supply to areas in Central and South Trinidad and is scheduled to take place from Tuesday 13th September to Thursday 15th September 2022.
