Desperadoes claim their 12th National Panorama title

Desperadoes have dethroned last year’s winners BpTT Renegades to claim this year’s National Panorama title. This is their 12th title. They won with their performance of Nailah Blackman’s “More Sokah” arranged by Carlton “Zanda” Alexander, which earned them 286 points.

Renegades and Trinidad All Stars tied for second place. Renegades played “Wrong Again” arranged by Duvone Stewart. Trinidad All Stars played a Leon “Smooth” Edwards arrangement of “More Sokah”. Both bands earned 282 points.

The results of the National Panorama are as follows:

2. Trinidad All Stars “More Sokah” Leon “Smooth” Edwards – 282

4. Phase II Pan Groove “2020 Vision” Len “Boogsie” Sharpe – 281

5. Invaders “Feeling It” Arddin Herbert – 279

6. Skiffle “Wrong Again” Kendall Williams, Marc Brooks, Odie Franklin – 277

7. Exodus “Dear Promoter” Terrance “BJ” Marcelle – 276

7. Supernovas “Dear Promoter” Amrit Samaroo – 276

9. Tropical Angel Harps “More Sokah” Clarence Morris – 274

10. Redemption Sound Setters “Wrong Again” Michael Toby – 273
