Police are on the hunt for a man who posed as a patient and then slashed a doctor on his stomach after he was caught tampering with a patient’s bag. 

According to reports the man gained access to the doctor’s office in San Juan after pretending that he had stomach pains. The doctor is said to have taken the man to a treatment room before leaving him to go and get medication. When he returned with the medication he saw the man going through a patient’s bag and he confronted him.

The man became angry and slashed the doctor with a knife in his stomach before he fled the scene. The doctor was treated at the Mt Hope Hospital.
