Two men were shot and killed in Glencoe last night.

The victims, 34 year old Kareem Pierre and 22 year old Brandon Luke, picked up bullets when gunmen drove by in a Nissan Tida shortly after 7pm on Wednesday, opening fire on them.

Both men were liming outside of Luke’s home, with some other friends who managed to escape.

Pierre died at the scene, while Luke was taken to the St James Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7.28pm.

The double murder has pushed the country’s death toll to 253.

A team of officers led by Insp Lynch, Sgt Adams, W-Cpl Jules, Cpl Viechweg, PC Dillon, PC Wilson, and PC Ramsawak, among others, responded.
