Duke Says Farley Removed As PDP Deputy Leader As Party Rift Deepens

By Newsroom

Farley Augustine has been removed as deputy political leader of the Progressive Democratic Patriots.

According to a notice this morning from the party’s leader, Watson Duke, the decision was made in an Executive meeting overnight. It comes as Augustine- who is Chief Secretary of the THA- said on Thursday that he would review Duke’s responsibilities after he publicly slammed the THA for allegedly not doing enough to help 27 members of the Roxborough Folk Performers, who travelled to New York for Labour Day celebrations.

Duke’s notice said the appointments of the party’s two other deputy leaders, Faith B.Yisrael and Alicia Roberts-Paterson, have also been revoked.
