Recounts have been completed for three out of 14 electoral districts following Monday’s local government election, with the results remaining unchanged.

The Elections and Boundaries Commission confirms that the Cocoyea/Tarouba and Mayaro North districts remain under the control of the PNM, while the UNC has won Marabella South/Vistabella.

Recounts are ongoing for 11 other electoral districts, as requested by the respective parties.
