There are now 100 active cases of COVID-19 in the country. 

The Ministry of Health recorded 18 new cases of the virus in its Saturday morning update.

The newly positive patients are currently on route to hospital.

It comes after a total of 15 new cases were recorded on Friday. 

The Ministry of Health provides the following update:

–      One (1) case is imported. The patient is a national who recently returned from Nigeria/ Egypt/London/ Barbados.

–        Six (6) are contacts of recently positive COVID-19 patients.

–       Eleven (11) cases are pending epidemiological investigation.  All established protocols have been implemented.
