The St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are through to the CPL 2019 playoffs. They beat the Barbados Tridents in a match that went down to the wire. The Patriots eventually prevailed by just one run, in the last over after scoring  149 for 7 in their innings. Sharmarh Brooks top scored with 53 runs off 33 balls.

Brooks who celebrates his birthday tomorrow was the hero of the match as he produced his career-best in T20 cricket at his home ground, Kensington Oval. Captain Carlos Brathwaite also impressed but with the ball as he claimed 3 for 30 in his 30 overs. The Patriots moved to second place with that win, taking over TKR by one point.
