US ELECTIONS: Police On High Alert After Bomb Threat Called In Near Voting Centre In Philadelphia

Election tension intensifies in the United States as police in Philadelphia have evacuated a shopping mall in the Pennsylvania city over a bomb threat.

The Philadelphia Police Department says they investigated the threat and conducted a sweep of the Fashion District mall with K-9 units but did not find any explosive device.

The mall partially borders the Convention Center, where votes for the presidential election were being counted.

Joe Biden is currently leading in Pennsylvania however ballots are still being counted.
