The National Extempo Preliminaries, which was scheduled to take place at Queen’s Hall, St. Ann’s this evening has been postponed until further notice.

This has been confirmed by the National Carnival Commission, which gave no reason in a statement issued this afternoon but promised to provide additional updates as they become available.

The Trinbago Unified Calypsonian Organisation, which manages the extempo event, participated in a meeting with the National Carnival Commission earlier today.
