Attorney General Faris Al Rawi is in quarantine after being informed that he was exposed to a Covid-19 positive patient.

The AG has been administered a PCR Covid test, which returned a negative result.

He will remain in isolation in keeping with Public Health guidelines.

“Out of an abundance of caution and in compliance with COVID-19 protocols, the Attorney General commenced isolation for 14 days, yesterday, Monday 26th April 2021 and shall execute his roles and responsibilities remotely via virtual platforms and other relevant forms of communication,” a statement from his Ministry read.
