A 52-year-old Electrician was granted bail of $75,000 with surety or $7500.00 Cash Alternative by Master Sarah De Silva on Monday 8th July 2024, after he was charged with Indecent Assault.

According to the TTPS, the accused appeared at the Princes Town High Court, The accused was also ordered not to contact the victim. The matter was adjourned to August 8th 2024. Police reports indicate that the victim was at her home when the accused allegedly hugged her and started to squeeze her buttocks.

A report was made to the Oropouche Police Station. Detectives of the Special Victims Department launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of a man on Sunday 7th July, 2024. He was formally charged on the same day. Inspector Ramphal and Sgt Andrew investigated the matter.
