Forensics Find Andrea’s Autopsy “Inconclusive”

By Newsroom

The case of 22 year old Andrea Bharatt, who was kidnapped and subsequently killed, hit another roadblock on Monday afternoon as Forensics said her cause of death had been “inconclusive”.

It is likely that a cause of death could not be determined due to the advanced state of decomposition of the body.

Bharatt, who was reported missing on January 29 after she boarded a taxi, was found down a precipice off the Heights of Aripo six days later last week Thursday.

Investigators believe her killers disposed of her body shortly after she was kidnapped.

Many of their questions may remain unanswered, however, as two of the leading suspects in the case, Andrew Morris and Joel Balcon, died at hospital after being detained last week Sunday.

Morris died hours after being detained by police, while Balcon died on February 8, after spending several days in the Intensive Care Unit of the Mt. Hope Hospital.

Five other people were initially detained in connection with the young woman’s disappearance.
