Four Arrested and Four Vehicles Recovered

Four people have been arrested and four motor vehicles, reported stolen, were recovered by officers during several intelligence-led exercises yesterday.

According to the TTPS:

In the first exercise, an 18-year-old male suspect of Bon Air Gardens was arrested in the Arouca district in connection with a report of Motor Vehicle Larceny which occurred on January 24th, 2024 in the district. One white Toyota Corolla motor vehicle was recovered during the exercise.

Meanwhile, three male suspects, ages 21 to 30, all of Diego Martin, were arrested in connection with a report of Robbery with Aggravation which occurred on January 19th, 2024 in the Woodbrook district.

The intelligence-led exercise conducted by officers of the Woodbrook Criminal Investigations Department (CID), resulted in the recovery of one Kia Sportage vehicle in the Fort George district.

In the Northern Division, officers of the Tunapuna CID conducted an exercise between 8 am and 12 noon yesterday, which resulted in the recovery of a white Nissan AD wagon bearing false registration plates. The vehicle was reported stolen from the Arima district on January 24th, 2024.

And, a white Nissan AD wagon was recovered in the St. Joseph district by officers of the Northern Division Task Force, Area West, minutes after being reported stolen from the Aranguez district yesterday morning.
