Four Charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

Four men are expected to be charged with Larceny Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

According to the TTPS, on March 5th, between the hours of 8 pm and 9.15 pm, officers of the North Eastern Divisional Task Force with assistance from the Special Investigation Unit recovered a Nissan Wingroad and a Nissan Almera vehicle in the Bourg Mulatresse area, both were believed to be stolen.

The Nissan Wingroad had a broken triangular glass near the left rear door and officers also observed that the ignition appeared to be tampered with. Officers gathered certain information and soon after, four men were arrested. The men aged 20 – 37 of Santa Cruz, Tunapuna and San Juan, are assisting officers with their investigation.

The exercise was spearheaded by ACP Subero, Snr Supt Edwards, Supt Ghool, ASP Callender, Insp Ramsingh, Sgt. Martin and supervised by Cpl Daniel. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of ASP Callender and Insp Ramsingh.
