Health Minister: COVID-19 Patients Who Are Unable To Isolate At Home Can Still Access State Quarantine

By Newsroom

COVID-19 positive patients who cannot reasonably isolate at home due to crowded living arrangements will be allowed to access the state’s quarantine facilities voluntarily. This was revealed by Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, at Saturday’s media press conference.

Minister Deyalsingh said the policy decision- which follow’s government’s decision to allow positive patients with no or mild symptoms of the virus to quarantine at home- is an effort to prevent the virus being transmitted to more people in the household.
