The Heritage Petroleum Company Limited is continuing clean-up efforts following oil spills at two of its sites on Wednesday, one at Agapito Trace, Santa Flora and the other at Inverene Road, Cocoyea.

In keeping with protocol, the company said upon news of the oil spills, it immediately suspended pumping operations, plugging and clamping associated pipelines, where applicable.

Heritage says it is in talks with residents in both communities to minimize the impacts of the spill. Air quality tests are also being conducted.
