An investigation has been launched into a stabbing incident at the Signal Hill Secondary School. The investigation will be conducted by the Tobago House of Assembly’s Division of Education, Research and Technology. The incident is said to have happened on the school compound.

It is alleged that the incident occurred between two boys of lower forms at the school. Assemblywoman Zorisha Hackett and assistant secretary Orlando Kerr have already said that they would place urgent attention on attenuating this increase in violence perpetrated by or against students.

According to a release from the Division, “Officers within the Student Support Services Unit have been assigned to urgently provide the required support to the students involved.”
