ITNAC Springs Into Action, Relief Shipment Cleared In St. Vincent And The Grenadines

By Newsroom

The NGO Is There Not A Cause (ITNAC) has already sent two shipments of relief supplies to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the first of which was cleared on Friday morning.

The organization, founded by Avonelle Hector-Joseph has issued a call to “Rally yuh crew” and assist in having more supplies sent the to the island in wake of the volcanic activity at La Soufriere.

An explosive eruption has occurred at the site on Friday morning, according to the UWI Seismic Research Centre. It came just over 12 hours after the country’s Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, issued an evacuation order for Vincentians living in the RED zone.
