Jamaican Adrian Byfield who tried to commit suicide after his Trinidadian wife was found chopped to death at their home, has appeared in court charged with her murder.
Byfield, a 49-year-old immigrant who worked a security guard, was remanded by Siparia Magistrate Margaret Alert to reappear on March 27th.
Logan’s two sons, ages 27 and 10 years, found her body in the bedroom of the house at Quarry VillageSiparia where she died from chop wounds between Thursday night and Carnival Friday morning.
Byfield was found nearby. It is believed they had a dispute.
