Jamaican authorities have now confirmed that controversial pastor Kevin Smith, who shepherded the Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries, was among two people killed in a car crash this morning.

The news comes just one week after the pastor was arrested for allegedly performing rituals which involved human sacrifices.

The other crash victim is a police officer.

The pastor was at the time being transported to Kingston where he was due to appear before the Home Circuit Court tomorrow.

On Sunday, Smith, who refers to himself as “prophet of the nations” had warned his followers via Facebook of an incoming “flood” and told them  they were being prepared to board an ark and that those who were considered “unclean” would have their blood shed.
