The Kiss Baking Company has issued a statement hours after video footage of large amounts of bread being discarded at its manufacturing station and says contrary to reports circulating online, there is no truth to claims that the bread had been contaminated with glass. 

“Our manufacturing processes do not use any equipment containing glass,” the statement read. 

It further stated that the cause of the mass disposal of the breads were out caution due to contamination with plastic.
