A Brasso Village man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murders of Ricky Joseph which occurred on October 15th, 2025 and Darias Shadrack, which occurred on October 17th, 2025.
According to TTPS, CLEVON ALEXANDER, 34, a labourer, of Riversdale Drive, was also charged with Wounding with Intent against two other victims, and Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition, when he appeared before Master Whitney Franklin at the South Criminal Court ‘C’, on Monday 27th October, 2025.
The Sufficiency Hearing date has been set for September 18th, 2026. Joseph and Shadrack were in the company of two other persons in the Brasso district, on October 15th 2025, when several loud explosions were heard and all four were subsequently found with gunshot wounds. Joseph died at the scene, while the other three victims were taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility for treatment.
Shadrack died two days later, on October 17th, 2025. One male suspect was arrested in connection with the matter on October 22nd, 2025. Investigations were supervised by Supt. Steve Persad and ASP Maharaj, both of Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region 3 Homicide.
Three and conducted by Sgt. Bridgemohan and a team of HBI Region Three officers. Alexander was charged with the offences on October 24th, 2025, by W/Cpl Dyer-Baptiste, also of HBI Region Three, following advice received from Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Sabrina Dougdeen-Jaglal, on October 23rd, 2025.
