A stolen vehicle which was found abandoned along Mt. Moriah Road in Cunupia is now the main piece of evidence police have to help them find the suspects behind a home invasion in Las Lomas on Monday afternoon.
The incident took place at around 5:10pm.
The victim told police he was at home along with his wife and two children when two men, both wearing masks and latex gloves, confronted him and announced a hold up.
He said one of the men pointed a firearm at him and demanded that he go into the house. The men proceeded to tie up the victim and his wife and ransacked the bedroom.
The suspects stole the Nissan Wingroad vehicle, which was later found abandoned, along with two wedding bands, a gaming console and two cell phones, together valued at over $100,000.
The vehicle is currently being processed by the crime scene investigators.
