With effect from midnight on Sunday all non-essential activities will be forbidden as Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley announced that Cabinet is “sufficiently convinced we are at the stage for further enforcement.” “We are increasing our separation. This is not a State of Emergency. There are laws and regulations in place right now to enforce no gathering,” Dr Rowley said at the post cabinet news briefing on Thursday. “The Attorney General will identify a large block of the population– the non essential workforce that will stay at home. “Basically you will be allowed to go out to get food and medicine. “ For example, the Health Sector –delivery and supplies from the private sector- and Utilities will stay open while the air and sea port must stay open for cargo to come in. “Customs and immigration has to be at work,” the Prime Minister said. The time under lock down  means that community tracing will be enhanced.
