After one year and eight months of intense police investigation, 22 year old  Darrel Clarke has been charged with the November 2019 murder of his stepson, five year old Re’Sean Armani Bowen.

Clarke, who hails from  St Barbs, Laventille is scheduled to appear virtually at the Port-of-Spain Eight Magistrates’ Court next Monday, July 12th .

He was formally charged on Friday afternoon.

On November 22, 2019, the child  was found unresponsive at his home at Gobin Trace, Upper St Barb’s Road, Laventille, where he lived with his mother and the accused.

The case was investigated by the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region One, spearheaded by Inspector Lynch and Inspector Jones.
