Thirty-four year old Richard Jeremiah, of Seukeran Street, San Fernando, will appear before a San Fernando Magistrate today, charged with sexually assaulting an 18 year old mentally disabled woman.

The victim reported to police that she was at home when Jeremiah visited and asked to see her father.

After learning the man was not at home, he allegedly asked to use the washroom, using it as an opportunity to carry out his attack.

The incident was later reported to the Ste Madeleine Police Station. Extensive investigations were conducted by PC Bianco under the supervision of Cpl Steele which led to the arrest of the suspect.
