A shooting incident in Piarco on Monday night ended with one man being killed and another injured.

The deceased has been identified as 26 year old Jarobi Balfour, also known as “Mouse”, of Fifth Avenue Extension, Oropune Gardens, Piarco.

Meanwhile 30 year old Christopher Ragoonanan, also from Piarco, was shot in the leg and later taken to the Arima Hospital for treatment.

Both men were liming in Oropune Gardens shortly before 9pm when a gunman approached and began firing at them.

Balfour died at the scene. 

Police are continuing investigations.
