Manning, Two Others Bow Out As Candidates In Upcoming PNM Elections

Three candidates have withdrawn their nominations for the upcoming PNM internal elections.

In a statement on Wednesday morning, the PNM’s Election Supervisory Committee announced that Brian Manning bowed out of his bid for the post of party Vice Chairman.

Meanwhile, Curtis Shade and Ndale Young have withdrawn as candidates for the positions of Field Officer and Youth Officer, respectively.

To date, there are 39 nominees – 4 unopposed and 35 who will face the polls on the scheduled dates – Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November 2022 and on Convention Day, Sunday 04th December 2022.

The race for leadership of the party remains with four contenders as Karen Nunez-Tesheira, Ronald Boynes and Jon Barrack attempt to unseat the incumbent Dr. Keith Rowley.
