A 30-year-old man of Union Park East in Marabella has been arrested after police seized over $120,000 worth of marijuana in an early morning exercise.

Police reports indicate that around 4 am this morning Cpl Bahadur,PC Ramjattan and officers of the Southern Division Task Force conducted the exercise along Battoo Avenue Marabella.

The officers stopped and searched the suspect’s motor vehicle, allegedly finding a large black plastic bag which contained 25 transparent plastic packets each containing marijuana.

The suspect was arrested taken to the Marabella Police Station along with the illegal drugs. PC Ramjattan continuing enquiries.
