Massy Energy: No Legal Letter Received On Behalf Of Late Employee’s Family

By Newsroom

Massy Energy Engineered Solutions Limited says it has not received any correspondence from the Martin George and Company law firm, acting on behalf of the family of Allanlane Ramkissoon.

The company’s statement follows a newspaper report which claimed that attorneys requested a settlement offer to Mr. Ramkissoon’s widow, Sarah Ramkissoon.

Mr. Ramkissoon, who was employed by Massy, died in Colombia on June 18th after sustaining burns at the NiQuan Energy Plant three days earlier.

According to the newspaper article, in the letter to the Massy Group’s chief executive, Gervase Warner, attorneys from the firm Martin George and Co said to date, the company has not told Ramkisson’s widow the cause or origin of the accident.

“Massy Energy Engineered Solutions Ltd. wishes to advise that we are not in receipt of any correspondence from this firm regarding the incident involving Allanlane Ramkissoon, and as such MEES is not in a position to comment on this matter,” the company said.
