Massy Energy Engineered Solutions Ltd says is it in contact with Colombian authorities and family members to repatriate the body of Allan Lane Ramkissoon.

Ramkissoon died abroad while being treated following an incident at the NiQuan plant on June 15.

“In our commitment to transparency, a dedicated team from our company is actively engaged in NiQuan’s internal investigation in our capacity as a contracted service provider to NiQuan. At the same time, we are cooperating in a broader investigation initiated by OSHA and other regulatory bodies. We are committed to getting a detailed understanding of the main causes of this tragic incident and where appropriate, embedding within our business any lessons or improvements that may come out of the process,” the company said in a statement on Sunday.

The company added: “We also recognise, the profound impact this tragic incident has had on Allanlane’s colleagues, and we are ensuring that they too receive the care and assistance they need to navigate this difficult period.”
