Heavy showers are expected on Tuesday, as the Met Office has issued a Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert, set to begin at 4am.

The Met Office says there is 70% chance of heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the day, associated with the passage of a Tropical Wave .

This activity is expected until around2pm.

Street flooding is likely in heavy downpours and gusty winds in excess of 60 km/hr can accompany showers and thunderstorms.
