The Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Donna Cox, has extended congratulations to the winner of the 50th Miss World Trinidad and Tobago competition, Miss Maracas Valley, Aché Abrahams.

Ms. Abrahams will represent Trinidad and Tobago at the Miss World finals in February 2023.

The competition was held at the Lord Kitchener Auditorium, National Academy for the Performing Arts, Port of Spain on Sunday 6th November 2022. Minister Cox, who was present at the competition reminded the competitors that the holder of the coveted title of Miss World Trinidad and Tobago will become an ambassador for brand TnT.

She also thanked outgoing queen Ms. Jeanine Brandt, Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2021, for her sterling representation noting that though her reign might have ended, her work with her successor is only now beginning.
