By Newsroom

From Friday, July 1st, those travelling to Trinidad and Tobago will no longer be required to present Covid-19 tests to enter the country.

The announcement was made by Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, during Wednesday’s Covid-19 media conference.

It reverses the policy which required visitors to present a negative PCR or Antigen test taken within 48 hours of travel.

“The Honourable Acting Prime Minister Colm Imbert has authorised me to advise the country that as Friday 1 July (the day after tomorrow) the need for PCR /Antigen testing to enter Trinidad and Tobago will be stopped,”  Minister Deyalsingh said.
