Energy Minister and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young, now has the additional responsibility of acting as the Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago while AG Faris Al-Rawi travels abroad.

AG Al-Rawi will be travelling outside of Trinidad and Tobago to conduct high level meetings with state agencies and legal advisors in relation to ongoing matters of state, a statement on Saturday night read. 

The release did not indicate which country the AG would be traveling to. 

Minister Young’s acting role came into effect from Saturday and he will continue to discharge his other portfolios during this time.
