The Ministry of Health (Moh) has announced the first-ever influenza vaccination drive. The flu season is considered to be between October to May and the MoH mass has said that there will be vaccination sites to inoculate the population. The announcement was made earlier today, October 26.

The sites are expected to be located in each Regional Health Authority, as well as at the Divali Nagar, the Paddock Area at the Queen’s Park Savannah, the Sangre Grande Civic Centre, the Mayaro Sports Facility, and at the Atrium at Gulf City mall.

They will be operational from October 31 to November 6 from 8 am to 3 pm. Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh also disclosed that T&T received 75,000 trivalent doses on Tuesday at a cost of $285,000 US.
