A young expectant mother is fighting for her life at hospital after gunmen stormed her partner’s home at Freeman Road in St. Augustine, killing him and one other person.

Twenty-one-year-old Daniel Riley and his 16-year-old girlfriend were taking a nap at his home yesterday afternoon when the attack happened.

The teenager, who is 8 months pregnant, is listed in critical condition at the Mount Hope Hospital.

She was shot in the stomach as she covered it to protect her unborn child during the attack.

Another man was also shot dead during the attack- his identity is unconfirmed.
