A Chaguanas businessman is this country’s latest murder victim.

Darryl Dindial, owner of Dindial Auto located in Montrose, Chaguanas, was attacked at his business place last evening during what police believe was a robbery attempt.

He was taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility however the 52 year old succumbed to his injuries.

This is homicide number 192 for the year.

Meanwhile, upset over the killing of businessman Darryl Dindial, residents of his home community in Montrose took to the streets around midnight, burning tyres in protest as they called for an end to increased crime in the area.

They noted that many business places, in particular, had been targeted by bandits in recent times.
