Tensions continue to escalate in Hong Kong and now there are reports that police fired blue dye from a water cannon and rounds of tear gas, as protesters returned fire with petrol bombs and bricks.The violent clashes come just two days ahead of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.Thousands of protesters marched in Hong Kong’s usually busy shopping district earlier this morning, marking the 17th consecutive weekend of unrest as they continue to fight for democracy.
