Naiee Singh who was murdered on Monday morning just as she arrived for work was granted a restraining order by the court against her husband 32-year-old Roger Singh just one week ago.

They had been separated for almost a year.

Roger,  a lecturer at the National Energy Skills Centre, who shot Naiee in her head just outside her workplace at Venture Credit Union on the Southern Main Road in Couva, killed himself immediately afterwards.

The Couva Branch of the Credit Union was closed for business after the traumatic incident which occurred mere minutes before opening time.
