By Lillian Searles

With no active COVID-19 cases, New Zealand is set to lift almost all of its Coronavirus restrictions, declaring the nation COVID free.

New Zealand has reported no new Covid-19 cases for more than two weeks. The country has moved to level one, the lowest of a four-tier alert system.

Schools and workplaces will be able to open with no limitations on gatherings or domestic travel, weddings, funerals and public transport can resume without any restrictions. Social distancing is no longer required but will be encouraged.
