An estimated street value of over $100,000 in marijuana, a firearm and ammunition was seized by officers of the Western Division Task Force on December 1 2023.

According to the TTPS, officers conducted an Operation Blue Line Exercise in the division between 10 am and 3 pm on Friday 1st December 2023. Based on intelligence information, the team proceeded to a track between Sargangar Trace and Davidson Drive, La Puerta Diego Martin and conducted a search of an abandoned structure and found and seized a quantity of marijuana, one extended magazine 11 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and 11 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

The marijuana weighed a total of 5244 grams. This exercise was sanctioned by ACP Maharaj, and coordinated by Snr Supt. Henry and ASP Lynch and supervised by Cpls Dominique and Edwards. PC Figueria is continuing enquiries.
