Pan Trinbago has announced the revival of the South/Central Pan Champs event after a nineteen-year hiatus. The event will be marked by renaming the event in honour of the late Ken ‘Professor’ Philmore, an esteemed figure in the Steelpan community and the inaugural Professor of Pan. Sixteen bands have qualified to participate in the event based on merit received during the preliminary round of the Panorama 2024 Competition, with two categories of bands: Single Pan Bands and Conventional Bands.
