Omarr Charles is expected to appear before a Scarborough Magistrate on Monday, charged with the murder of 17-year-old Precious Wills and the wounding of another person, which occurred on Sunday.

The suspect, 31, also faces two other charges- shooting with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Wills, of Bon Accord, was shot Sunday morning, at a  bar in the Crown Point district. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Scarborough General Hospital. An 18-year-old woman who was also shot and wounded in the incident remains warded at the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.

Charles was arrested in connection with the incident on the same date by officers of the Tobago Divisional Task Force (TDTF).
