PM: I Had No Conversation With Anyone In Barbados On Brent Thomas Matter

By Newsroom

The Prime Minister maintains he met with no one while in Barbados for vacation this past weekend, to discuss the Brent Thomas matter.

Responding to a question from the Opposition in the House of Representatives, Dr. Rowley confirmed that he did meet with “many” officials during his trip but said none of these talks were for the purpose of discussing anything to do with the case involving the local firearms dealer.

Meanwhile, National Security Minister Fitzgerlad Hinds says he has received a thorough oral report from Police Commissioner Erla Harewood Christopher on the Brent Thomas matter.

Asked whether he also received a report from the Regional Security System or the CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security, Minister Hinds clarified that he has, to date, only received a verbal report from the Top Cop.
